Position Summary:

The Test Support Specialist plays a critical role in supporting the Testing department by managing the documentation, tracking, and coordination of testing activities. This position is responsible for ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timely submission of test reports, maintaining and improving tracking systems, and facilitating communication between testing, shipping, and sales teams. The Test Support Specialist also contributes to continuous improvement efforts by auditing procedures and training materials, supporting data integrity in Power BI dashboards, and helping ensure compliance with customer-specific requirements. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively across departments in a fast-paced environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Finalize and submit test reports by reviewing documented results, converting them from Excel to PDF format, and driving the approval process.
  • Address rejected reports by correcting issues and resubmitting for signature.
  • Communicate with the test supervisor on any issues that may require re-testing.
  • Ensure signed test reports are properly stored and coordinate with shipping for deadlines, printing, and lamination as needed.
  • Communicate with Sales to ensure customers receive test reports promptly and track customer-specific requirements to meet individual standards.
  • Develop, maintain, and improve a comprehensive test report tracking system to monitor the status of each report throughout the process.
  • Audit and enhance the test time tracking system daily, ensuring accurate data entry and regular updates to Power BI dashboards.
  • Manage and improve the testing Power BI system, including updating testing priority reports and aligning test plan dates with goals and breaker status.
  • Respond to test-related inquiries.
  • Collaborate with testers and supervisors to audit testing processes, identify gaps, present findings and revise documentation to reflect current testing practices.
  • Support the improvement of training documentation and assist in setting training schedules.

Position Requirements (knowledge, skills and abilities required to perform satisfactorily in the position):

  • High school diploma or GED required, associate degree in a technical field or business administration preferred.
  • Minimum of one year of experience in a quality assurance, or administrative role; experience with reporting systems and workflow automation is a plus.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Adobe Acrobat, and Power BI; experience with SharePoint and workflow tools (e.g., Power Automate)
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with quality management systems, LEAN principles, and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Valid driver's license.
